Home Energy Improvement Program (HEIP)
Eligibility
The Home Energy Improvement Program is available to Georgia Power residential customers looking to reduce energy use and improve home comfort through qualified energy-efficiency upgrades. Unlike income-based programs, HEIP is open to all customers as long as the improvements meet Georgia Power’s program standards. Rebates typically cover 50% of the project cost for eligible measures, helping homeowners significantly reduce the cost of upgrades. All work must be completed by a participating program contractor to qualify.
Covered Measures & Rebate Amounts
HEIP offers rebates for a wide range of energy-saving improvements, including:
Attic Insulation — Up to $250 back
Air Sealing — Up to $300
Duct Sealing — Up to $300
Heat Pump Water Heaters (ENERGY STAR®) — Up to $500
Smart Thermostats — Rebates available for qualified models
Other approved HVAC and home efficiency upgrades
As a participating contractor, we complete all eligible improvements and handle 100% of the rebate paperwork to ensure you receive the maximum savings available.
Georgia Power Energy Rebates
