Multi-Family Rebates

We are proud to participate in GEFA’s Home Efficiency Rebates (GHER) Multi Family Program, helping property owners improve energy efficiency across multi-family buildings. Our team works with certified auditors and contractors to identify qualifying upgrades such as insulation, air sealing, and HVAC improvements and manage the entire rebate process to maximize energy savings and lower utility costs for residents.

Eligibility

The program is open to property owners, developers, property managers, and contractors associated with multifamily residential buildings (two or more dwelling units).

For Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) both low/moderate‑income multifamily buildings (with at least 50% of units occupied by households at or below certain income thresholds) and non‑income qualifying multifamily buildings may participate.

For Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR), to qualify, at least 50% of the building’s households must earn below 150% of the Area Median Income per county limits.

Projects must be completed by a program‑approved contractor to qualify for rebates — for both HER and HEAR paths.

Why This Matters for Property Owners & Managers

Participating in GEFA’s multifamily rebate programs offers a strategic opportunity to lower project costs, increase property value, and enhance resident comfort and satisfaction. By leveraging rebates for insulation, HVAC upgrades, heat pumps, and more, you reduce energy demand which often leads to lower utility costs, improved comfort, and higher tenant retention.

As an experienced contractor familiar with GEFA requirements, we can manage the entire process for you, from initial building‑wide assessment and rebate application to installation and documentation to ensure you get maximum rebate benefits while delivering superior upgrades for your properties
